Fantazio Pay
Payment by text message for the shop’s cashiers when the card terminal fails
Fantazio Pay is a small tool for the cashiers at Fantazio's shop. When the card terminal fails, the cashier types the amount and the customer's phone number. The customer gets a payment link by text message and pays on their phone, and the sale records itself in the shop's system.

The shop's card terminal sometimes misbehaved or was not available at all. The cashiers needed a second way to get paid that worked from any phone and still landed in the same books, so the accountant never saw two systems.
The cashier enters an amount and a phone number. The customer receives a text with a single-use link and a QR code, and pays in full or in instalments. The cashier sees the payment land on their own screen within seconds, and the invoice in the shop's system marks itself paid. Links expire after three days, and a daily report matches every payment with the payment company's records.
Because I still look after the business, I built it from Toronto in August 2026, in less than twenty-four hours. It runs on the shop's existing hosting and within the payment gateways' rules about which websites may take payments.

Under the hood
A small Slim PHP app on shared hosting; Zarinpal and SnappPay; a shared-secret bridge into the shop's point-of-sale database; phone-code admin login and an audit log.
