One clinic website, two designs, the same words and photos
Rosegol is a registered massage therapy and skincare clinic in Toronto, and I built its website. The site lists the clinic's treatments, the technologies it uses and the conditions it helps with, and makes it easy to get in touch.

The owner came to me through a referral with a Word document and forty-six photos. Every service had to be easy to find and read, and the photos had to do the selling.

I turned her document into one set of content and built two designs on top of it, one calm and one cinematic, so choosing a look never meant rewriting a word. A small piece of trivia: I first built it in June 2026, on the day Anthropic released its Claude Fable 5 model, a few days before the model was taken offline for a few weeks for security reasons.

Both designs are finished. The clinic chose the cinematic one, and it is live at rosegol.ca.
Under the hood
Next.js 16; one typed content layer shared by both designs; 46 photos converted to WebP with alt text; smooth scrolling and page transitions in the cinematic version, switched off for visitors who prefer less motion.
